Running Bridge | Design and Construction of Bamboo Pavillion

A form of space is not the only story the structure tells. Continuously twisting surface provides people various experiences on both structure itself and its surroundings. Materials and structure finally have a chance to have a conversation with people’s body, when they linger around or climb inside. Like skyline the tunnel framed, and the mottled light and shadows dropped from bamboos’ gaps, gesture and expression showed in this pavilion, make themselves even more vivid during contacting with people.
